Summary: This build was designed to shutdown an enemy caster while still being able to inflict damage. However, the damage wont be enough in most cases to kill the target (fleeing) alone.
Explanation of Attribute constellation:
An increase of Dagger Mastery over 14 won't lenghten the dazed duration, and since the main purpose is to shutdown you can save attribute points or healt (superior runes).
Shadow Arts 10: the main reason to get Shadow Arts to 10 is Unseen Fury, which you can keep up constantly because of this.
Tactics 4: For an acceptable duration of "Watch Yourself".
Obviously, the Attribute points are spread more or less on 5 Attributes. This may seem unprofessional, but it can't be helped, the Assassin seems to have this flaw naturally.
Leaping Mantis Sting was chosen because of the low cost, the mediocre recharge time and the cripple condition, which allows its use as an acceptable Opening of our attack chain as well as a good counter against kiting (combine it with Siphon Speed)
Temple Strike was chosen because i love this skill, in fact this build is the consequence of an effort to create a build around Temple Strike. Temple Strike should only be used if you're more or less certain to hit. If the enemy is for example protected by Guardian, don't use Temple Strike. Try instead sneaking unprotected targets (advantage in crowded fights, meaning you can switch fast between your targets while approaching your real prey).
Twisting Fangs: good covering of blind and daze, also good damage skill. Due to the high costs combined with Temple Strike, +Energy armor (and/ord weapon) are important.
Unseen Fury: Nice synergy with Temple Strike, enchantments like Guardian won't help the target as soon as you'e hit it with Temple Strike. Ensures Interrupts. Since it is a stance with a high recharge time Speed buffs shouldn't be stances to.
->Siphon Speed: Reason for usage as mentioned Unseen Fury.
Shadow Refuge: Selfheal. Not much alternatives if you want a selfheal as A/W.
Watch Yourself: Boosts your AL and thus allows to keep hitting your dazed target in order to succeed shuting your target down.
Notes & Concerns:
This build works best if you can prevent condition remove, but you've got daze more or less covered. However, skills like Draw Conditions or the Elite Condition Remove will make this build pretty weak unless you attack those using DC etc.
edit: This build participates in the premade contest, also under the name ''Templar'', feel free to rate.
