Blood is power: Change of % loss: It's too much
Ballone
Please change the % of Bip sacrifice loss from 33% to 2o%. It is too much of a loss based on what recharge rates are available to a player speced in Blood, and Mo healing, and the Damage your devs have set the monsters to inflict in some map locations.
This would help players who support team play giving them a litte bit of a break on....
-My damage penalty is 60%
- cultist henchmen is dead
- anyone who is supporting the team energy is dead

i have never had a problem with BiP, and i use BiP with my monk on pve, one ritualist MM thanked me for having such a skill to help him keep summoning minions.
and regarding the DP, if you have 100 life, and you use BiP you would only lose 30 life.

Aera
BiP=mass energy. It's perfect as it is
QuietWanderer
Slap on Mending and Watchful Spirit if you're a monk secondary.
The Lich Ranger
Mending FTW
Arkantos
Its fine the way it is.
B Ephekt
If the sac wasn't prohibitive there would be nothing keeping the BiP necro from giving everyone unlimited energy. That's a pretty stupid idea when you consider how easy it would make pve (which is already too easy imo.) Not to mention the effects on pvp balance.
BiP is a good skill just how it is, it's one you need to use wisely though and that's how it should be. So, um, maybe play smarter?

I'll try Watchful spirit.
But the example I gave was from huge trouble in Urgoz yesterday. Groups of 12 are tough

I've seen good use in non necro or caster style. Ranger and War.
Quick + and -
+ range spell
+ A LOT OF regen (boost PnH lol)
- 33% sacrifice (scorge sacrfice lol)
- target other ally
It is like boosted Blood Ritual.

Blood magic..... bring some life stealing skills to cover your health loss wile your at it, your lucky to have an attribute which provides healing, life stealing, energy support, top of the line nuking, and even some significant enchantments all in one.
Actually having to pay for the best energy support skill in the game..... Balanced.

get in groups that are good enough to not rely(sp?) on a necro battery. BiP is good as it is
Malice Black
BiP isnt really needed imo if you have a good group that calls energy and takes regular regen intervals then u dont need BiP you are just wasting a space..go get another l33t echo nucker or stance tank with no stances..
shardfenix
bip is fine. Have one of your monks throw an orison at you and youre back to full hp.
nefastaruebays

Blood is Power(BiP)'s 33% health sacrifice can be justified this way:
First, know that each pip of energy regen gives you 1 energy every 3 seconds. With that in mind, 3 pips equals 1 energy per second and BiP's 6 pips means 2 energy per second.
BiP lasts for 10 seconds, so that's total of 20 energy gain in 10 seconds. With an energy cost of 5, it leaves a net energy gain of 15.
Compare with Blood Ritual(br), that's 10 energy for 3 pips over 17 seconds. That is 17 energy over 17 seconds, and net energy gain of 7.
Conclusion: BiP gives twice the energy at twice the speed. So it is 4 times better than BR, but only sacrifice twice at much health. It's way worth it.
