Regular pve trashy nub levels can be beat with any skill bar and dont really need to be blacked out.

Maybe instead of using them for armor crafting they will be used as a "cosmetic" change. I know some players want to be able to change their characters face, hair, skin tone, etc. This could be a big gold sink. They could introduce a "cosmetic merchant" who take rubies and sapphires to make the changes.

agreed. i think that would be a great idea, i knwo lots of ppl who want to change their looks but dont want to delete their char with all the time and money spent on it

I do not understand why people who play Guild Wars think they are pro gamers...America never has favor for a reason... Also if one of you play sc/zh/war3 tft i'd like to 1;1 you so you can feel my uber pro l337 320 apm ggnore noobs

--sadego Where did we ever state that we are "pro gamers"? BTW I'm not in America so I really don't understand what you're getting at. And where did all this hostility come from? We were discussing the probability of Sapphires and Rubies having a good use in the upcoming chapters... Calm down man.
PS: A Sapphire is worth 250g at the Rare Material Trader, in case you know what that is.

One of my friends got a Sapphire drop from Rock Fist in the Nolani Academy mission several months ago. And I've kept one from before Chapter Two's release in the hope they'd increase in value. I should have sold it when it was worth 5K.

friend got a sapphire or ruby can't remember which one... but it was outside Durheim Archives in Morostav Trails. I also had a drop around January of a Ruby in PvE Tombs.
