I dont know never tried to farm him, but...
I believe that to get to him youll need a speed boost. I doubt the usefullness of relying on enchantments, due to possibility of having to aggro creeping carp. Consider methods to bypass them - the farm should be easy if you can avoid any enchant strippers.
Rough guestimation says that to bring his damage to a manageable level youll likely need a W/E or E/x using Dolyak/Watch (or Kinetic) and Armor of Earth. He is a level 28 boss, and therefor has 1280 hp. Consider spoil victor, or open ended damage dealing tactics, such as Sliver Armor.
