how about a totally new one that can cast spells on the run?
I think thatd be pretty cool profession example:

Primary: Sprint casting - the higher lvl sprint casting you have the faster you run while casting spells (on the run).
Also this attribute enables you to actually cast spells while running but at low lvl in this you get a great speed reduction.

i cant think of the other attributes for this one but i think itd be rather cool

Combining this as primary with elementalist would be extremely cool!

Please feel free to edit the rest of the profession and comment it

I think we have enough casters right now, we should focus on phyical damagers.

Agree^^

Although, I think its a really nifty idea. Something I have never really thought of before, maybe give them instruments for weapons and call them bards?

dunno sounds pretty neat being a bard i think its a fun idea

Besides while adding this profession they could add the wanted assasin and/or ninja class as well as a beastmaster with mounts who deal dmg as well as the rider?

hehe or they could add mounted fighting for rangers and death necros

Casters on the run? You DO know what this will lead to, right?

Time and time again I have to face these assholes in the competition arenas who, after their entire party was already killed, just run around in circles for minutes for the sole purpose of killing time and annoying ME.

I'm sure many of you came across a situation when it turned out to a 1v1 battle, which became a game of tag as one character was trying to catch the other.

A spellcasting on the run character will only improve this type of ... ugggh, I can't even find a good word for it, but I know I don't want to see it.

I agree with amnon. Though i always bring a sprint and protectors strike I still don't like single palyers wasting time like this.

They would have to have some sort of weakness while running besides slower casting. Maybe they take more damage while casting spells, or if they are attacked while sprint casting they are automatically interrupted.

Wandering my own road.

Well, at a movement penalty, with attribute points only working to reduce it, it'd actually be interesting.

And remember, even if they invest enough points and it's scaled where they can walk at 100% speed while casting, they've probably spent half of their attribute points and a rune just to do that.

thank you thank you thank you for saying that. i am so sick of chasing a ranger around the random team arena for 10 minutes just cause he wants to make me leave. nukers are powerful. a nuker u cant catch would be a frikin pain the the ass. he'd just run in circles and thro meteors at you!

I always preferred Hamstring, but, eh, too each his own.

Yeah, I'm with the general concensus here:

No. I do not like casters, Sam I Am.
I would not like them if they spam'd.
Not If they spam'd "Run Away!!!".
I would not like it, no how, no way.

Yup. I can also spin up some pretty sweet Limericks, too!

There once was a man named Trebeck.
He had the worlds tiniest...

THATS ENOUGH, MR CONNORY.

...off topic again. Sorry.

it's a pretty funny idea for a class.

it wouldn't have to be definitely bad, since every class has their specialties. weird, though. =)
