Thanks for your answer.
I did a search before posting, so I already saw those threads, but most of them are from mid 2005 and since then Cedega and Wine have been greatly improved, and with the latest versions (Wine is at 0.9.26) it seems that GW can be played on a Linux box with just minor annoiances (for example the mouse curson doesn't display correct colors, or some crashes at start).
This is a link about Wine I've found with a google search:
http://www.linuxlogin.com/games/guildwars.php
(it talks about Wine 0.9.17 and 0.9.25)
And this one is a link about GW on Cedega:
http://cedegawiki.sweetleafstudios.com/wiki/Guild_Wars
(it is about version 5.2.3, now 5.2.7 is out)
(I'm posting them because they contain helpful info on running GW on a Linux box, so other users may benefit from them)
But my question is not "will GW run on a Linux box?" (Sorry, it's my fault, I didn't express clearly my question in my previous post

), my question is if someone is playing the game on Linux instead of Windows, not just launching it and logging in (again, I was not clear, sorry

).
The main concern is: what A-Net thinks of such use?
Will happen something like being banned for botting?
It happened to WoW players as you can see from the links in my previous post, I know that Blizzard is different from Arena Net, but I care about my account and characters, and I wouldn't be happy to lose them.
