How do you take screenshots

I already know how to take screen shots but if i wanna take one of the weapon stats or something or my inventory the picture turns out with the inventory nut pulled up its just a pic of me standing there!! so how do u do that i kno the way to do the normal one is shift + print screen

Ummm just press Printscreen then use Paint or something to crop the item stats..

If you didn't read in the farming video thread one of my hobbies is making cartoon using images of games. I did one for UO about a beggar named Soupy Dreck. I use still set to music in a moving format.

Anyhoo, if you want to get better quality screenshots and be able to set the size, get this free screenshot taker.

You can set it to send the pics to a file folder, and hotkeys for taking pics on the fly, as well as size settings. It's one of the better freeware proggies out there.

sorry i tried that nothing happened same result i got a picture of me standing there with nothing this is what i did i pulled up my invtentoy got it so the stats were showng pressed prt scr and looked at it and it was just me standing there, about the thread that isnt freefall i dont kno if i should use that cuz what if it steals my password or something

For the result to be "just you standing there", you have to be pressing something other than "just" print screen. [Shift]+[Print Scrn] will, of course, create a screen shot of your view, minus the in game text, GUI, etc.

Unless you've changed the key entry in Options*, simply pressing [Print Scrn] and only [Print Scrn] will get you an in game shot, with game text, GUI, etc.


*Check options to make sure you didn't alter the "simple print screen" keystroke.
