Make FoW armor more exspensive..

@OP ~ You haven't given a good reason to raise prices or implement a new system to acquire the armour. All you've provided is some rhetoric about ebayers and that Fow armour is for bragging rights.

1. Provide some plausible reasoning behind your request.

2. Provide a realistic solution that all players could achieve not just those who play a certain style.

If you can't do that then you have really only created a flame thread to entice flames (you said so in your first post). I'm wondering if you don't just want attention.

Or you could make FoW/UW harder reducing the input of mats needed. Make it less ugly which would up the demand and increase the cost of ecto/shards.

Or even better we should nerf farming, salvage kits should cost at least 1k each and skills should be 5k, all missions should cost 1k to access and then and then and then....

First two were semi-serious, last two-three was me getting carried away .

i say no because it took me almost a year to obtain 1 mil without ebay. its already expensive enough.

Malice? Well, now he's just trying to defend himself. He prepared himself for flames everywhere, and everyone is criticizing him for doing so.

I honestly wouldn't care whether the prices of the FoW armor rises or not. There are some good points and some bad points.

Good: Well, if the set was hard-earned, then it would show who is a true money making machine. Perhaps the price of the armor should fluctuate with the price of Ectoplasm ^_^

The Bad: Well, the gold farming industry would still get a bit hit. Though I doubt that there will be a rise in the prices, even if there were, the rise would not be dramatic enough to stop the ebayers. If the purchaser of the gold really wanted the armor, what's to stop him from putting out, say, another 20 dollars?

I can see a few people stop their purchasing frenzies and play the game with normal, 'ugly', 1.5k armor.

When I played the game, I rarely ever noticed anyone with such expensive armors. They are barely recognizable among the masses of the public, with their flashy dyed armor pieces. I've noticed the glowing from 'Drinking from the Chalice of Corruption' more often than Fissure armor pieces even when two characters are standing by each other.

To me, this topic is a real meh.

You do know that there will be some people who will stop buying completely, right? Good.

I think IDing 5000 rare items on one character will probably be rarer. If you want to be exclusive, there is definately something you could shoot for in the meantime.

Big Deal as well, I'm sure that would gather a crowd. Well, if that is your intention; make FoW armour more exclusive and thus drawing attention to yourself.

FoW armor looks like trash compared to factions armor. But is shows no life status - mega farmer or gold buyer... dunno which is worse.
