Concept class: The Jester

Here's a little something I cooked up; imagine a Jester, all dressed up in funny clothes and hat and possibly weilding a toy cane with a comical head in effigy on top of it. Okay, now what could this Jester do that could help teams... Well, a Jester main job is to keep royalty amused but supposed that his "amusing" abilities could be used for something else than just being the king's buffoon.
First, the ablilities; Jesters would be agile, very agile and of course wear armor that would be in the same class as the mesmer. As weapons go, it could be a wand, a staff or a funny stick of some kind. They would not be melee characters.
Here are some of the skills I thought about:
1) Fumble: For [x] amount of seconds, the next attack is missed and the attacker is knocked down.
2) Toy Rattle: For [x] amount of seconds, attacked hears the ever annoying sound of a baby rattle or some other noisy toy (only the target hears it). While enduring this, the "victim" attacks or spells take 2-3 times as long.
3) Confettis: The attacker is showered with confettis thus blinding him for [x] amounts of seconds.
4) Killer Joke [Elite]: Target foe and adjacent foes hear a quick and witty joke and for [x] amounts of seconds suffer a given health degeneration and are interupted.
5) Zwing!: For [x] amount of seconds, you run 30% faster and have a 75% of escaping attacks.
6) Slippery Grounds: For [x] amount of seconds, target foe can only walk and has a 50% chance of falling down (similar to being knocked down).
7) Firework: The jester casts a colorful firework that distracts the attacker (causes interruption).
8) House of Mirrors: Attacker sees [x] amount of target duplicates and has a proportionate chance of hitting. For example; if the attacker sees his target multiplied by 5, he stands a 1 in 5 chance of landing a hit.
9) Water Balloon: For 2-6 seconds after impact, the next time attacker uses a skill, that skill is interrupted and takes an additional [x] amounts of seconds to re-cast.
10) Deck of Cards: Jester pulls a card, the number on the card is the amount suffered by the target (higher skill could double or triple the amount of damage). A high-end card; Aces for example could cause damage + hp degeneration. A Joker card could cause the attacker to lose all energy.
11) Alum: Target foe is silenced for [x] amounts of seconds and cannot cast spells.
12) Firecrackers: Jester throws a string of firecrackers. Taget foe and all adjacent foes suffer [x] amount of damage and are cannot be the target of enchantment for [x] amounts of seconds.
13) Bowling ball [elite]: Jester makes into a ball and rolls rapidly towards target. Touched target and all adjacent foes are knocked down.
14) Scarecrow: for [x] amounts of seconds, target foe suffers health degeneration of [x].
15) Ink Balloon: Target is blinded for [x] amounts of seconds and all physical attacks are missed.
16) Trempoline: Target foe bounces a few feet into the air for [x] seconds and cannot attack while bouncing.
Well, I wrote all this in one sitting and this is about all I could come up with in such a short time. Tell me what you think.

I think that the effects caused are too similar to mesmer abilities. It's probably just going to be added to mesmer abilities anyway. Besides, you can't really get 3 attributes and a primary from this. The only primary attribute for this I can think of is Luck, which has a chance to raise your attributes by 2 for the skill used.

I know what you mean but like I said, I cooked this up in a jippy. Basically I wanted a class that would bring funny moments and comedy relief a the while being somewhat useful in a group.

The idea of the Jester came about a few minutes before starting this thread as I was cleaning up an image dump folder on one of my drives. If I would have found one of those maniacal laughing faces in a funny suit I would have skipped the idea. I do agree that for many people, clowns we're nothing but scary while they were kids (and this includes myself) but I still think it would be an interesting class to play/develop.

I'm certainly aware that the jester will never make it in any form into chapter 3 or any subsequent chapters, but I had a great time last night just popping up this thing.

Writting Concept class is a fun thing. always an feel of accomplishment when putting your ideas into words.
but than... I am sure you would had greater time popping up/in/out some other thing(s)....
