Leaving Guild wars, win my money

First of all, don't give it to noobs. They'll be happy.. yes, they'll buy stuff with it but even though you may think you're helping them, you really are not.
By giving money or items to new guys you'll deny them the ability find stuff themselves. They'll never have to go out and "earn" money. They'll never have to figure out what the best items for the job is. They'll just walk around in 15K armour with a victos axe and they'll think they rock.

A better way to help noobs is by giving them advice or some direction.

There is no "catch up" in GW.

If you want to get back into gw just play for a few hours and you'll be back on track.

Reading this makes me think, what could I do with 300k?

I would probably waste it all on vanity items. Specifically new Factions armor for my old Prophecies characters. With a full-time job, a girlfriend and friends who want me to play other games with them, its often hard to get in enough time in GW to farm all the faction needed for Kurzick and Luxon armors. So really, I think most of the money would be spent on Jade and Amber to craft new armor for my Necromancer and my Warrior.

Weapons and other items aren't of much use to me, I tried doing the multiple sets of armor and multiple sets of weapons thing, and it just leads to you creating a storage character, which is no fun at all. So anything besides money, I would either sell it off, or give it away. Pretty much first come first serve to Guild, then Alliance, then Local chat.

I don't deserve your stuff though, I just want it to buy my characters better looking armor.

Personally I'd like it just so I could do something fun with my characters for once. I always have to do everything when I play rpgs. And kill everything. I'd just once like to play a character that goes out kills a couple critters, goes into a town, buys a round of dwarven ale for everyone one day...... in LA...... Dis 1......

Either that or just play a game of hide and seek like some guys do, and give the person that finds you a reward based on how fast they find you and what level they are. Say a level 4 guy finds you in under a minute, give him like 10k. A level 17 finds you in 5, give him 1k. Then jump all over the map to different major cities, rinse, repeat. Or buy a couple of high end items and sell them on the guru auction house with a "buy now only" price of 1g.

I suggest keeping it, but if not I would like to have the gold.

The reason, recently a couple of my friends have joined Guildwars and being good mates that they are took all my money (20k) trying to get themselves on their feet. This money would help us, our own little guild buy addons and armor/weapons plus some left on the side to say that i actually had money for once.

even a constellation prize of the superior vigor would make me happy.

I think i deserve the money beacause

1. im ultra uber sexy
2. im ultra uber p00r
3. i need money for runes to make a 55 (and after i get money ill farm and give back to the n00by community)
4. i need weapons for my chars
5. i have but 100 measly g in my bank...most of my money went to buying skills..
6. i need more money for more skills...500 more to unlock...
7. i need a sup vig..

but it doesnt matter who wins tho if i do ull make me a very happy person...Peace!

yeah, feigning disinterest is exactly what everybody is doing. telling him to keep it himself or give it to people who actually need it will make him want to give it to us. believe it or not many people who told him to save it do not need it which is exaclty what we said

i wish i could have them to finance my 2nd big deal rank. don't have big deal yet but i'm working on lvl2, which means max the 10k golds id title.

i would like the money because i really dont have that much. i have around 50k throughtout all my characters, because i am buying new things for my guild hall right now. i also would like the money to buy items for my assasin and monk i recently made, superior vigor, greens, armor etc. also yesterday, with the new greens coming out, i soloed about 10 totem axes last night, when the price was around 50k, and gave them to my close guildies, and kept one for my own monk. i do have 2 pairs of 15k armor, so i used to have a little money, but now with the guild hall npcs, ive been focusing on buying them for my guild so that it is alot more convient for us.

i really could use the money, but it is your call on who you think comes up with the best reason.

Well ill be honest, i would love to take your money and your stuff off ur hands, i am kinda poor right now after spending all my money that i saved up over the course of the year on my luxon 15k armor and my new sword, but now i have a new character and i would like to get him some fissure armor. But before you think i am greedy i should tell u that i often help my brother and freinds on guild wars, giving them weapons, runes and money, to give an example around christmas time my brother really weanted an ids, so i farmed for a LONG long LONG long LONG time, and i finally got 2, 1 i kept and 1 i gave to him, these were worth 80k at time, and i run ppl everywhere for free or nearly free occasionally so plz cinsider me when u give away ur stuff

I'd visit the local Tyrian Animal Rescue Center and spend it all adopting mini Charr Shamans. The payment will cover the shelter donation, adoption fee, grooming, and shots. Consider it a good cause, as I'd be helping these lost and orphaned Charr mini pets find a new and loving home. Y^Y

You sure are defensive for such a charitable soul. My point was, it's human nature to want it, and there's no way nobody wanted it. Look, nobody said they wanted it before Bethany spoke up, and now every other post has "Me plx". Simply saying, took guts to be the first. :P

Its not that I DESERVE IT... but its that I could really use it.

Reason why?

at my house in real life we put the computer into the hottest room in the house.... the front porch that is surrounded by giant windows with no curtains.

So now throughout the whole year (yes even winter) It's a total crapshoot on how long guildwars will run before the videocard malfunctions and either gives me some error that I have to restart... or the computer just restarts automatically without warning.

Its the worst right now during the summer and I have barely been able to go more than 5 minutes.

Its not that the connection is crappy, the video card is, but the family wont give the money nor do I have the money to buy something with better cooling. Which is why I play guild wars >.> no money for monthly fee.

And because of all of this I cannot raise money to save my life, now and then i can get 2-3 mino runs with my ele but that was a while ago. I can't even raise the money by farming to get something nice now x.x or just the farming is less than half the speed it was now.

So thats why, I don't deserve it really, but I could really really use it. I have been playing for nearly a year now (did /age and im at 11 months) so im not some noob or something that wants a hand-me-down. Its just now I no longer am even able to raise money anymore. Not to mention all my old cool items have gone through lots of depreciation and price reduction, so can't sell my stuff for a profit either.

Would be nice to have a break this overheating problem is just wearing me down, I am so frustrated. Plus I can save the money so I can buy some nice rit armor when I buy Factions pretty soon =), my comp also sucks bad enough that I CANNOT do pvp because of uber lag around other players, so forget trying to get faction to buy armor.

edit: another reason, I would like to buy my first sup vig or abs rune.... been playing a damn year and haven't gotten a single one of either x.x

Being poor sucks... I hate it... Would be nice to have some money to look at in storage.

I'm not going to blow smoke up your ass by trying to promote myself... Either I get the stuff or I dont... Either way it wont change how I play.
