but seriously, it'd be better to give to your friends or just let it rot until a later date when you decide you want to have some GW fun for a change.

I see a few people in here begging for your stuff that I know for a fact have plenty of money. But I'm not going to ask for it even if I would love a pay day like that. What you should do is get creative with it. i.e. go to LA and buy some nice weapons for each class then take them down to lower level areas and give them to new players, buy the exact amount of materials needed for a set of droks armor or 15k and give it and the amount needed for crafting (could give him the vigor too) to someone that looks like they need it (not the beggers, the guy who looks perfectly content in the crap he's got but would really appreciate a gesture like that). There are tons of ways you could use what you have to help out those in the GW community that really need it, not those that need another set of FoW or their 8th set of 15k, or that perfect fellblade.

well i for sure would id enjoy your gold. and to be honest, i would like it because it would save me many many hours that would be spent farming to get close to that. and i would spend the gold on some things for myself. such as unique gold items that are hard to find, and do not have green counterparts, that i would fine useful in PVP settings. and other then that just casually buy what i needed

although, you could give me the money since i have had so much bad luck...

ive played the game since Guild Wars came out, 28 April 2005... since then i only had 3 (!!!) nearly perfect (but low dmg) weapons... i tried to salvage the mods off every time cos the dmg was so bad... but EVERY DAMN TIME i only got WOOD aint that a bitch?

but then again, i already have well over 300k and 2 mini's... 2 characters with 15k armor and quite some greens... so i dont really need it :P geh geh

I would sell the money(and account?) to online buyers. you can make some actual real money by doing this. and it isnt a loss to anyone, since most of the people dont want you to give it all away anyways.

can't think of a reason why i deserve it. no false humility here.... seriously i cant think of one reason.

But what i would do with the money? hmm. my little brother got prophecies recently and because im from a strict korean family, he cant play more than 2 hours on teh weekends. and thats after i tutor him algebra and geometry... he's going to 6th grade btw. He came up to me yesterday and asked why GW was so hard. Normally, he's very excited to play these games but his enthusiasm has waned since day 2 of purchasing the 40 dollars game with his OWN money that he's been saving up. Now, I feel like a failure because I told him how fun the game was but he's starting to think it's a waste of money. I keep telling him that it gets better later on, but he's already frustrated with the game... and I can see him already eyeing that damn gamecube sitting on the floor. So, to make me feel loads better and to ummm... "bequeath your wealth to the progeny of future Guild War(iors)," I recommend you give it to my little brother. I don't want to make him think that I gyped him.

I would love to have your cash. I deserve this assistance because I have spent nearly 60k helping a new player (pm me if you want to verify). Though 60k may not seem like a lot, it was 75% of my total assets.

Well I really do want it, to be honest. I've been giving away a lot of things and most people I give them to don't log on for months later. I'm saving towards buying some nice weapons to equip myself so it would be real good to have some help...

If you have a guild - help them out. I've always been somewhat poor, but my friends have always been poorer. Still, I've donated much of that money to my best friends and guild mates. I've probably bought a dozen sets of 1.5k armor for other people, including the crafting materials.

Don't donate to people on the forums you have never met - donate to those you know best.

I'm going to be completely honest with this paragraph...

I've done nothing to deserve the money/account, but I do want it. I don't ever solo farm because I personally find it very boring, but thats where the problem is! It is rather hard and takes a huge amount of luck to make a lot of money without farming. Because of this, I have only around 50k which I got from selling the new green daggers I was lucky enough to get last night. I at one point had a perfect Zodiac Hammer I was planning on selling, but right before I was able to sell it, disaster happened: I was salvaging a rune, I lagged for just a sec, apparently moved the mouse down, and salvaged my perfect Zodiac Hammer. For someone like me, that was a huge cut in the amount of money I'd ever have. I just feel you should give it to people who will never even come close to getting a set of 15k armor, kind of like me...

Well, personally, I don't deserve it at all. But I still want it badly.

Prolly more for the fact that then I can get my 15k armor than anything else. Also, the sup. vigor. What can I say, I'm a major vigor user and that's about it.

Also, it will go towards funding a ghial's staff for my MM, and maybe an ironclaw for my W/R?

By the way, I've never had over 40k at one time. Ever. Even then, it was because I resold something that someone was trying to sell for cheap to get rid of it fast. I'm also too lazy to solo farm for anything of decent value. I can't afford a good farming shield or good sword for a riposte build, I'm not far enough in Prophecies to get some decent farming elites (I.E. Glad's defense)

But yes, I am greedy and I want the money.

Oh, and that 40k I had, I used on one green and a piece of 15k. I've got bad luck most of the time, as with all people here, (lost a perfect enchanting bowstring while expert salvaging. Anyone else?) speaking of which, I probably shouldn't mention bad luck, because that's a lot of these people's excuses for needing it.

You could also help me get cooler looking armor for my chars, too. Like finishing my faction armor for each char. That's pretty much it.

Go to random towns and ask for help - on how to get better armor, what the max dmg for a sword is, what the henchmen are for, on how to upgrade items, on how to get more gold, where to get tanned hide... general newcomers' quesions. Advertize that you wish to sell black dye for 100g - and see if anyone tells you that you can get more for it.

Give the gold to the people willing to help others. Spread the joy (I think it's better to give 10k each to 30+ people than 300k+ to 1 person).

i think i need 360k cuz ive played guildwars for around a year. i have 2 lvl 20's and overall on ALL my accounts, the MOST money ive EVER had is 26k. 26k.... and now i have 3k cuz im TRYING to make a 55hp monk to farm for me. but that aint working out so well... =\

yeah i know im being greedy, but hey, if life gives u lemons.. make beef stew. jk. im just trying to take advantage of this opportunity. i wouldnt be mad if u gave the money to someone less fortunate.
