Gladiator Helm

Am i the only one or does any1 else think there should be a helmet specially for the gladiator armour set. I mean all the other types of armour have their own helms; platemail, knights, dragon ect. and the actuall gladiator helm well...looks tacky. There should also be a 15k gladiator helmet to, while im perfectly fine with the ascalon helm on my glads, it still feels out of place.

I know some people use the Obsidian helm on their glads armour which imo suits it, but the amount of money it costs for the FoW armour, some people just either dont want it or dont see the point in it.[ i am actually saving for the set lol]

But id like a Helmet that fits in with the whole gladiator theme.
something like this perhaps.

i understand that but what im saying is that there should be a gladiator style helmet somthing on the lines of that pic made to suit the gladiator armour set, as i mentioned in the 1st post im perfectly fine with the ascalon helm on my gladiator set, id just like to have a gladiator helmet to fit with the set and was wondering if any1 felt the same

The first one maybe - its a pretty fair model for a legionnary's helm. The second one is like nothing Roman I've ever seen, and also looks suspiciously like the helmets the Elves wore in Lord of the Rings. And Gladiator, although it was an entertaining movie, is nothing approaching historically accurate.

A Murmillone's helmet would work, or possibly a Samnite's. A Secutore's helmet would be exceedingly bland and ugly and the a Retiarius had no helmet.

If you want a Gladiator's Helmet, I'm thinking of the helmets in LOTR The Two Towers. The Berserker Uruk-Hai. Their helmets are cool-looking and if they came in whatever colour the gladiator thing is...

That's the one that came to mind when I read the OP. However, I think the others would be fine, too.

I like that helm. I always thought the flappy cap was tacky as hell anyhow.

Granted stats are what count but id still prefer to look cool rather than like an idiot. i mean personally the only reason my necro has a set of scars is for the extra energy for 55 farming, otherwise id never buy it EVER!.

its the reason people buy FoW armour simply the looks and it shows that youve earned that look [ minus ebay people ]

and have u seen the normal gladiator helm? its a flap of cloth mite as well be weaing his/her underwear on their heads.
