Strange though as i never see anyone buying them in towns. But it does mean smite runs are better and you jump for joy when one drops,or at least i do.

I saw someone trying to palm an elwynth (sp?) recurve bow for 30K today.. 30K!! They were going for about 5K just before Factions was released...
I think with the release of Factions there are less people farming proph areas and spending more time exploring the Factions stuff so some commodities and items are going up in value
I'm aware you can go to UW/Fissure from Cantha but the groups hardly happen (I've NEVER seen one form) so the 'global' farming effort has reduced slightly

Yes indeed, Ectos did went up the price, but I don't think it will stop at 10k
