"many cultist sects" hints there's going to be some class in chapter 3 that worships Melandru

In my manual, it says that in cantha the unworthy dead depicted in the shrines of grenth are usually turned away from his majesty.

Ive yet to see this, at any shrine of grenth.

....reading comprehension anyone?

What ubermancer was trying to say is that, while the manual stated that in Cantha the unworthy dead depicted in the shrines of grenth are usually turned away from his majesty, every Grenth statue in Cantha is the same as those in Tyria.

Got it?

But let's look closely at the shrines of Grenth. The graphic may be the same, but the interpretation is different. In Tyria, the figures at the bottom are thought to reach out to Grenth in servitude. In Cantha, the same figures are thought to reach out for Grenth in pleading.

Different cultural perceptions, I guess :P

Whatever way, its a cool ass statue.

Actually, my favourite would be the statue in the Isle of Weeping Stone. The man surrounded by crows. I stare at it for ages.

Would you be disappointed to find out it's originally from the Brauer Academy?

The first thing that jumped into my head when I saw it was "Prometheus"
