Whoever did the mission Ring of Fire has surely noticed that while you literally burn your a$$es in the lava pool just before the first cinematic, the ettins, mursaat and jade things are totally unaffected. IMO lava, along with other effects like swamp water, should affect mobs too as they can't be 'allied' with a lava pool or a deadly puddle!
An exception to what i'm saying would be the undead not being affected by poison in swamp water as they are already dead, of flying beasts over spiked coral for instance. But for God's sake make walking mobs be affected by those effects. Now I don't mind if as soon as they start burning, mobs flee to the edge of the lava pool or similar but it is unfair that we have to watch our step cause of the lava and mobs wander freely through it as if there's nothing.

well, the ettins are igneous ettins, soemthing related to fire i guess, so im pretty sure they are somehow used to the lava heat and like their baths very hot
.
altough i would agree with some of the new enviromental effects, like stone spores affecting also the nearby enemies and not only me and henchies, altough one would think those creatures have developed a natural resistance to those things
