Mo/Rt

So, I'm running a Mo/Rt for the Factions campaign right now, because I've always wanted to give a primary monk a shot. I've never played one before, but I'm really enjoying it. The problem is, I really don't know much about being the primary healer. I've gotten up through Kaineng Center using intuition and my experiences playing as a secondary Monk, but I think I'm starting to realize as I get to higher levels and harder missions that my basic build right now just isn't cutting it.

If anyone could offer any great tips on how to make my build more efficient, I'd really appreciate it. Here's my current build:

12 Healing (11+1 for headgear)
10 Divine Favor
10 Restoration

Orison of Healing
Healing Seed
Healing Breeze
Divine Boon
Weapon of Warding
Mend Ailment
Remove Hex
Lively was Naomei

Every skill costs 5 or 10 energy only, with the exception of the area-effect rez spell. LwN seems to be pretty useful, but I'm starting to wonder if a better rez spell would be useful--although it can rez several characters at once, I don't think the area of effect is very large so it might not be as useful as I thought it would be. I think I might be spreading myself too thin by using both Mend Ailment and Remove Hex, but it seems to be useful in PvE for getting rid of stuff.

My main disappointment with the build is that I just don't feel like a great healer. I use Divine boon periodically to increase healing, but then my energy seems to drop too quickly. The main problem is that I can't tell if I have a poorly designed build, or if it comes down to how I play--maybe I'm trying too hard to heal everyone to full.

I've been debating between Word of Healing or Healing Light as my elite. I had planned on trying Healing Light because you get energy back if someone has an enchantment on them, such as HS, Weapon of Warding, or even on myself if I have Boon on. A lot of other people seem to use WoH, though, so I'm starting to wonder if it's just better at healing more efficiently. The other problem was that I feel like I'm not really utilizing the ritualist Restoration skills effectively. I used Generous was Tsungrai earlier in the game to give me great self-health bonuses or, if necessary, quick self-healing; however, I recently dropped it because it could only be used to heal myself. Maybe I should use it again, though, because I seem to keep dying quickly at these later missions.

So...yeah. That's about all I can think of at the moment. So, if anyone has some good suggestions for how to make this sucky build/player improve at healing, please let me know! Thanks for the help.

Mo/Me

I generally run my build as Healing and don't play my secondary much at all. I've played with Boon builds but I don't think they're all that fun.

I normally use:

Orison of Healing
Healing Breeze
Mend Ailment
Word of Healing {E}
Protective Spirit
Optional / (I mostly use Divine Intervention or Healing Seed here, depending on whether I'm going to have spikes or low level dmg)
Heal Party
Restore Life / Resurrection Chant / Rebirth, depending on where I am healing at. Rebirth for most high level areas is a good idea, but Res Chant is good for everywhere else.

Attributes are:
16 Healing Prayers +1 +3
9 Protection Prayers +1
13 Divine +3
+ Major Vigor

This build works well practically anywhere in Tyria, and seems to work ok in the missions I've done in Cantha too. Protective Spirit is especially useful. Be sure to have a 20% enchanting to make everything work longer.
