is the -50 Focus Item being nerfed?

Well, if they didn't want the 55 build to keep in circulation, I'd think that Anet would have nerfed it to hell by now. Seeing that the 55 build is still viable, you would think that Anet doesn't really feel that it's that big of a problem.
I highly doubt that the item would be nerfed or taken away.

There is a quest for one as far as I can tell, however any other ones would have to be farmed. You either farm for it or buy it. Don't ask me where to get the quest one it has been way too long for me to rember that. However it was before factions if that helps any. Also it's not that great, I got it for the -20hp only. Good luck in finding one.

I've found probably over a dozen of them in Skyward Reach farming Hydras. They drop pretty commonly there, so you may be able to find someone in Augury Rock with one for sale, if you don't feel like farming your own.
Actually I went back to the quest where you get the -50 hp focus and the item was no longer an option for the reward...
has this been taking out? Does anyone know... I find it quite strange.... this would pretty much put a hold on the 55 hp builds if they removed it thats for sure....also drive the prices of the originals a ton as well.

They can change absolutely anything. As was shown by that axe from a while back which could have two suffixes, ALL axes were fixed, including ones created before the patch.

Xenrath is correct, I think that if they nerf it will be a huge large scale nerf. The have mad smaller nerfs with the FFS and what not. That is only because they hadnt circled around the GW world yet. However the -50 cesta, people are farming those more than people can buy them. Any 55 farmer has one now.
