Does Sharpen Daggers re-apply Bleeding at every CH?

...If it does...I'm getting a crazy idea for a build.

It doesn't so much reapply it, as reset it. Fragility only goes off when a condition is added or removed. Reseting the duration has no effect. That said, if you can make the bleeding only last a few seconds (say 2), then you might have something. A 0 in critical strikes means the bleeding only lasts 5 seconds. Throw on sharpen daggers, hit them with fragility and the use critical strike dual attack to get the required critical hit. As long as you don't get more than 1 critical hit per 5-6 second interval and fragility isn't removed, it's going to trigger. You have given me an idea for a possible build though, I think I'll look into it tomorrow to see how feasable it is.

This style isn't new, but its nice to do.

Assassins can also poison and cripple, not to mention that Mesmers can also do deep wounds (using Phantom Pain + Shatter Hex).

If you use epidemic or Feavered Dreams (e), then you have a condition spammer.

At the moment...This is what I think should go into it.

CS: 9+1
DA: 9+1 or SA: 9+1
Illusion: 12

Main:
-Fragility(Illusion)
-Sharpen Daggers(CS)
-Critical Eye(CS)
*At the moment...I'm indecisive on which one of these skills would be most beneficial to this build:
-Critical Defenses(CS)
-Siphon Strength(e)(DA)
-Way of Perfection(SA) *I'm most likely leaning towards the use of this as it is the only means of HP.

I chose the following chain for low casting costs and low recharge times:
-Jagged Strike(bleeding)(DM)
-Mantis Touch(crippling)(DA)
-Critical Strike(for energy gainx2)(CS)

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

The problem with putting any points into CS is that you'll pretty much negate the second trigger of fragility when the bleeding stops. With your current attribute setup, you MIGHT manage to get a trigger off fragility 2x. Once when you get a critical hit and give your target bleeding, and once when the bleeding stops 10 seconds later, thats assuming you only get a single critical hit in the 18 seconds that fragility will last, and then, only if you get that single critical hit in the first 8 seconds following casting fragility. If you're really lucky, you'll get a critical on your first hit after fragility is cast, for 17 dmg, 10 seconds later the bleeding stops and fragility triggers again for 17 more damage, and then you get 1 more critical hit within the next 8 seconds after the bleeding has stopped. For a total of 51 damage over 18 seconds, not worth the 10 energy. The same goes for mantis touch, at a duration of 15 seconds on the cripple, unless you hit your target with it within the first 3 seconds of fragility going on, you're only going to get 1 fragility hit from it, again, not worth the energy. In actual fact, at a 4 second recharge and 5 energy cost, you'ld get better return from fragility if you had your dagger mastery at 0 and just continually attacked with jagged strike. Bleeding lasts for 3 seconds, which means 2 fragility spikes for every 5 energy and 4 second recharge of Jagged Strike. Not to mention that sharpen daggers + jagged strike = waste of sharpen daggers

Yeah...I was thinking that even at CS at ~15% it wouldnt be worth it.

I think Im just gonna think of a build with Primal Rage + Way of Perfection...which equals lots of healing.

Of course your gonna have to be a W/A.
