I see some poster here and they have Banned under their names instead of like Councilor and such. What does that mean? Also, everytime I see it, the posters name is in such a light, horrible color that I can't even read their name. Is that intentional?

Banned means just that, they are banned from responding to the forums, I think they can still view them (not sure, you'd have to ask someone who has been banned before about this). Their name will appear really bright like that to indicate as such.

No, you can't (at least not while logged it). You also have no way of knowing who banned you, or why.

Half-right. You don't know who banned you, but you do get a reason. There should always be a reason there, no matter what. If there isn't, then we're not doing things right.

On Lasareth's example, where it says "you fail at life" there will be the reason why you are banned. Below that, when it'll be lifted probably says something along the lines of "never".

As far as i know, only 1 has the custom title 'banned' and you know it's a joke because he's an admin. Only admins-mods-site contributors get a title (and the lucky 1 million poster) and of course they are not banned.

If you mean MCS; it's a remenant from April Fools day where all the titles were set to Banned. He simply hasn't changed it back since.

On a lot of other forums, there is a thread that is locked to all except mods that lists poeple that are banned each day, for how long, and the reason why. It would be kind of nice to see that here, but it would be a bit of trouble for the moderators.

I dont remember if you can send PMs to admins or mods when you are banned. If you cant then that bites. If it is a misunderstanding you cant work it out. I might be wrong though. Hopefully you could. I have never been banned and i dont want to be banned so i am not sure how that works.
