Well, I chose my secondary profession in Cantha. This confusing things is that the skill changer seems to let me chance to any secondary profession. Has this always been normal because for me, I've only had 2 total secondarys. Would there be any negative affects besides paying 500g?

What is confusing? Tyrians could do the other 4 quests to change their secondaries since day one. In Cantha it's changed to make it easier.
