I've searched the web for a while, and can't say I've found anything that really describes mobs "natural" weaknesses or resistances vs. various kinds of damage...

unknown1 has posted here in getting the ball rolling which is greatly appreciated

http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...hlight=weak+vs.

Goal? To find or help in compiling an actual "list" of sorts....

Monster Classification (+x% vs. Tengu isn't hard to figure out, but some more clarification on Dragon, Demon, Plant, Undead ect. would be nice)

Weakness vs. Damage Type

Resistance vs. Damage Type (I know undead is resistant to cold, that's about it, and only thru experience)

No I'm not talking about (use cold to get this spell effect) stuff... I can read skill descriptions lol

For example... If I'm fighting, say a necrid horseman, and without factoring in any damage calculations... should I use a

Fiery
Shocking
Icy
Ebon
Light
Dark
Chaos
Slashing
Blunt
Piercing

....weapon or

Fire
Air
Water
Earth
Holy
Shadow

... kind of spell

for higher damage output.

Any assistance, advice or comments would be great. I realize I have a few more things to put on here.. but I need to crash so I'll update later. Thank you all in advance ^_^.

Some are real simple:
Plant type enemies (like the Oakroot enemies, life pod type enemies, and stalker types) are obviously weak vs fire.

Undead types (obvious again) are weak vs Holy/Light damage.

And this is about all that people care about. The differences between slashing and pericing and such are small (unless its a human player thats wearing something like Bonelace armor)
