-3 Dmg while suffering from a Condition?

I think it would be a good idea to make this bonus available on shields. We have it for hexes, why not conditions?

Thoughts?

And mabye 20% weapon bonus

Although... you can give yourself a condition, but you cant give yourself a hex. I dont tinhk this could create any balance problems, but could be the reason it is not included.

Touch of Agony, and Signet of Blind dates (Midnight) are possible exploits, -3 but on weapons make it 15% more DMG, and would this apply before or after weakness?

Conditions are much easier to remove compare to hexes. Plus, conditions don't last that long.

There's no real reason not to.

Why not. When I PvP as a warrior, I get conditions often.

All the bonuses for hexes should be available for conditions as well

Quoted for truth.

Not a viable idea.

Being able to give yourself a condition has to be the reason this isn't in the game. I can't think of it, but I'm sure somebody will find a way to exploit this. Touch of Agony + Mending (cast on you by somebody else on your team obviously) would result in no degen... Someway, somehow, this is not a good idea (I can already invision the new age Wammo, now with Martyr). Somebody cleverer then me will figure it out.

Plus it crimpes new skill development in future chapters. Next time a.net makes a skill like Chillbas (m/s?) or some other self inflicting condition, they will have to evaulate it everytime just so warriors can't exploit it. I'm picturing some skill that doesn't exist yet that can self-inflict Dazed (with as many planned Chapters as there are, I'm sure it will come eventually). A pure warrior wouldn't care.

A very valid point. I can see why this easily could be exploited, and why it wouldn't be put into the game.

Thanks for the comments everyone

Ahh... I haven't played Guild Wars in 2 months (don't have the net connection to do play it), so I'm not completely up to date on all the faction skills, especially since I have very little experience with warriors.

I'm not understanding some people's post about Touch of Agony...doesn't it just make you lose 10% of your max health and deal damage? Nothing to do with conditions.

I think they are actually referring to Signet of Agony (which does cause you to bleed).
