Once i install all these parts how do you thing gw factions will run and will it run other games good to like counter strike,cs source etc.

IMPORTANT NOTE

if that is the crap s3 integrated video that you have check to be sure you have an AGP slot on that motherboard?

if not dont open it because it will not fit in the standard PCI (old style not PCE-E) slot
and will have to be exchanged

Today when a mate came round to check my comp first he checked my specs etc and then opened up my computer and i have 2 free slots and he said even tho i have a on board gfx card i can put the new gfx card in one of the slots and plug the moniter into the new gfx card not the other card and the ram in the other free one.He makes hes own computers from scratch so i trust him lol.

You won't be able to run games like Battlefield 2, FEAR, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, or CS:S on great graphic settings. Probably all of those games on low if you are lucky, CS:S on medium.

The 1gig of ram helps, but some ram is faster than other ram, but no matter what, 1gig is good. The graphics card will do the job for Guild Wars, but if you want to do anything more serious, you need another upgrade.

call him up to confirm one of those slots is an AGP slot as he may be assuming (since he builds his own) that you would have ordered the PCI version if PCI was all that was in there as that card comes in 2 flavors.

double checking saves a lot of extra problems

Well hes out atm but is there a way i can check.I have a program called eversoft and beric adviser that tells you about your pc but carnt find out in eversoft and beric adviser but it says

Memory Modules c,d

224 Megabytes Installed Memory

Slot 'A0' has 256 MB
Slot 'A1' is Empty
Slot 'A2' is Empty

So what can i do to find out?

Allso heres al ink to the graphics card we ordered. http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/66309/rb/19905348209

Allso it says XFX GeForce FX5500 256MB DDR AGP 8x DVI/TV-Out - Retail Box so i think its agp so is dat gd or bad lol im hopeless with hardware.
Allso here is a link to my motherboard. http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p...?model=P4MAM-L My mate said the red slot is the agp slot and the gfx card im getting is a agp one so i think im ok.i hope :P.
