1) what the hell is with the Don Quixote references as ur...posting reputation? it drives me nuts! its so...lame...

2)i was always under the impression that ur armor was added up then divided by 5 to get ur average armor [rating/level]...
...but awhile ago ppl were talking about runes being global (which i know they r) and talking about seperate hits to the hemet, etc. can some1 plz clarify/verify this mess? ... so if u had Pre-searing leggings on in Hells Precipice and a monster "hits" u in the leggings, u'd get owned, correct?
if this is the case, GW has become really stupid and i hate that idea. Armor rating/level should be global

2) Its not stupid. Its like a big plate torso Warriors wearing only shorts with no armor on it.

The AL of the piece of armor where you actually get hit determinest the AL for that hit. Where you are hit is based on relative percentages (chest is most often, arms, feet, and head are least), adjusted for locational factors, such as you will be more likely to be hit in the head than feet if you are higher up than your enemy.

Your "stupid" idea for how armor works is right. Your Warrior with low armor leggings getting hit in Hell's in the legs WILL get pwnt.

and they choice random/stupid names for the higher posting ranks lol

ok thnx for replying on the Armor question....but still havent really answered my Post Rep. question yet....i know Quixote, i mean to say Why does the GWGuru Forum have that as the ladder? i'd make it like ... lvl 1 Pre Newb .... lvl 5 Pre Noob ...Prince Rurik ... Lord Victo.....lvl 20 PvP MASTER or somin like that. u know? related to GW...but to have Don Quixote out of the blue is kinda wierd, and not funny at all. .....

And no, how is the current armour system stupid? If you forgot to wear your 'box' then someone booted you in yonder nether regions, would you expect your helmet to absorb the impact?

just some book like stated..the creator of this site liked the book i guess..

GW themed titles is a good idea tho..prob be too much work to change titles tho

WTF? Do you normally insult your hosts when you are a guest, or is this just a freak incident on your part? Perhaps you should go read the book and enjoy some fine literature.

As for the armor system... The armor system works just fine and WE all get it. Maybe GW is a little too complicated for you. (still ROFL'ing about the box/helm comment. hehehe)
