Guild symbol on chest armour

Imagine you could customize your chest armour to put your guild symbol on it.
For example with plate mail you could change it from the piggy to your guild symbol, who wouldn't pay 5k for that?
And this symbol could be affected by dye too.
For some armours it could be like a badge sown/pinned on you chest.

It could be a way to show you're in a guild if you don't like wearing a cape. And it'd be a nice all around feature.

I just want a Male Warrior fissure armor chest reduction-ator :P

This opens up a whole big messy can of... Stuff. Introducing this would require Anet to go back to every armor and figure out a way to put a badge on them. It wouldn't work out right. Where would the badge go on 1.5k Gladiator Armor?, Where would it go on a scar pattern? And more so, what do you consider the guild emblem to be? The emblem on the cape? If so it could be done, but a metallic phoenix wouldn't exactly translate onto a tattoo pattern for a Monk. They'd have to figure out new ways to implement it... Ex: On Scar patterns they'd add a new scar design of the guild emblem. All in all it'd be a nice idea, But if this were done. Emblems need to be able to go on Specific Shields too (Ones that have textures that don't allow it, don't get emblems Ex: Tanzit's Defender)

Although I can't see Anet adding this anytime soon. I'm sure hair dyes, piercings, hats, tattoos etc etc... Are probably above this on their list of things to implement.

Thats a pretty cool idea, but I fear as Nevin said it can be hold untill chapter 3 or more since ti will require a lot of work.

I find it unnecessary. The symbol is already in ur back with ur guild cape, having it in front with the armor is too much for me.

It's probably a warrior thing mostly, probably have to be something differant for the other professions.

On Glads it would have to be on the shoulder plate or tatooed on their chest i suppose.
