rit armor question for the experts

ive asked this in several rit threads but no one seems to know (or the people that DO know arent reading those other threads!).

question is, is one piece of mystics (+15 AL while activating skills) armor global? i know the shamans and oracles is locational and ive heard the same for mystics. but considering we all know one piece of knights is global for a warrior and one virtuoso (+15 AL while casting spells) mesmer piece is global, i just want to be sure before buying 15k bangles. seems to me (esp as similar to virtuosos as it is) it SHOULD be global but i would like a definate answer either way.

I believe it is locational, but I have not tested this.

Tested it out and I'm sorry to say it's NOT global. Just local

It's definitely local. The only piece that is known to be global is the knight's damage reduction, but even that piece only provides locational ARMOR boosts against physical.

Ok, and to further clarify:

Shamans Tunic: 60 base + up tp 15 al, depending on spirit control, would give you a possible 75 al on the chest.

Halcyons Bangles, 60 al, no bonus

Shamans Leggings: 60 base + up to 15 al, depending on spririt control, same possilbe 75 al on the legs as well..

Halcyons Shoes, 60 al, no bonus



Do the Shaman pieces both work? Or since I'm already wearing a shamans piece, do I need to wear a -third- armor type on legs with some bonus al... I figured since it's locational, that two shamans would cover both legs and chest?
