Guild Wars GOTY Edition question

Ok, I just bought the GOTY edition of GW on ebay (like 10 minutes ago) and was just wondering if somebody could answer a question for me.

I have had the original GW (regular, not CE) since launch and Factions (CE) since launch... I bought the GOTY edition for the bonus weapons (sad, I know... but I like them and I like having some useful weapons at my disposal, so when I make a pvp character, if I want a poison bow, I can make the character with 2 other bows, and the Nevermore bow or whatever can be used for poisoning, etc).

Now to the actual question (sorry for taking so long :\)... can I just add the key to my current account and have everything stay the same, but get the new items? Or do I have to start a new account?

No just add the key to your account and it should give you extra character slots as well as unlocking the weapons/skills for your PvP char.

Ok... hope it works... otherwise I just wasted 50 bucks lol.

The GOTY edition will not give additional character slots when added to an existing account, but it should give you the new items.
