Out of curiosity, what would you consider to be the 5 most expensive/rare items in Guild Wars?

I would assume +30 health upgrade for swords is one of them.
The dragon pet would probably be close to the top of the list.

What do you guys say?

Now that just prophecis stuff
rest has been spoiled since faction came out
since i dont see any Super rare stuff in faction as you do in prophecis

New skill trainers (see Factions...all skills are capped or purchased)
pre-order items from Best Buy

Expensive:

Use of third party programs
Sharing account information with ANYONE
Trusting people to pay for a run after you arrive
Trusting people to run you after you pay
Letting your buddy take over the guild temporarily, while you are on vacation

Dude, compared to the other stuff mentioned here, neither of those things are rare, or valuable.

The only reason i left crystalline off is because in the summer chest farmign was easy and 10+ 15>50 crystallines were found, and ive seen far less dwarven axes.

Then of course, there's the +damage modded weapons that have no drawbacks. The +damage unconditionally weapons don't drop anymore though, so I don't know if those count... Are you only looking for items that still drop, but are rare as hell? If so, I agree with derrtyboy's list.

Why the perfect sickles still? I seriously doubt anyone smart enough to get 1 million gold would spend it on a perfect gold sickle when they can buy Victo's Battle Axe for about 30k.

Then again, there's always going to be some idiot out there that's dumb enough...

Why has everyone left out the perfect sephis axe and the brute sword? I havent seen anyone finding, or selling 15^50 of those item recently, not for a few months, nor have i found anything but purple crap of weapons of those skins.

idk if chaos axe is in the top 5. i got a req9 15^50 last night and tried to sell for like a couple hours and this morning for a few more hours and was asking 100+10 and got tired of selling, which i hate to do so i sold for 100k easy. thats definately not top 5 calibre.

The most rarest item will be a max dmg gold tribal axe with req 7, and 15^50

or that axe with the victo skin, erm...?

( and why does everyone put crystalline first ? these aren't the most rarest ! you even get one in pre-seering...)

this is without having stats on mind imo
Im not a big fan of any of the new items, and i dont think theres anything remotely rare to Factions. im also pretty sure there are not rare skins for anything but sword axes and possibly shields

personally i dont like the idea of using a Sickle, it is after all in the skin of one of the most common green axes ><

and i dont think a 14-15%>50 max dmg sickle has been found yet?

I havn't seen the words "Chuck Norris" for well over a month until just now.

No from what i know only 1 max dmg sickle has been found (dunno if it's rumor though, his owner doesn't come here anymore), and it was clean. I've seen a 6-27 and that's it. If a 15>50 will be found it would be MUCH more expensive than any other skin (save a similar tribal axe). The fact that a green item has its same skin doesn't affect its price in any way (apart from the low dmg ones which u can easily merchant now). A non-green max dmg sickle is something that could make you easily EXTREMELY rich.

No, they do exist. They just dont drop anymore. It was due to a bug back in the Beta test days; you could find gold weapons in a chest in Crystal Desert. And they were dropping like this: zealous/vampiric sword of bla bla bla. +15% -1 nrg/health (due to the zealous-vamp hilt). Override the hilt and voilà, you had a +15% ALWAYS weapon.
Most of them have been customized so they're not in the market anymore; every once in a while one pops up in High End and of course they are quite expensive.
