Can i buy a prophecies cd-key?

Im relativly new to Guild Wars, and i bought Factions about a month ago, and people are telling me theres a lot of otehr items and skills i need to get in prophecies, is there a place were i can purchase the prophecies cd-key, or do i have to buy the original Guild Wars?

prophecies is the original GW.

you can buy a key online from play NCSoft but the retail box is cheaper.

Why would the retail box be cheaper? Isn't the key just numbers on the Internet sent to your e-mail ro something while the retail box has a CD, manuals and well, a box...

Only NCSoft is qualified to answer that question. Nevertheless the box right now is much cheaper.
