GvG is better, so thats wat i do. It's not just the emote you get...Though now people can see your exact rank even when it's in between new emote ranks people are still holding true to the old standards for group forming. It's most often r3+ r6+ or r9+. So reaching r9 means you've reached a new threshhold. You can get into groups easier/faster, and the groups you can now get in have a greater chance of being successful. The more successful your team is, the more sigils. The more sigils you get the more money you can trade it in for. And if you win enough you don't have to worry about farming in PvE only. You can earn gold in PvP as well. Yay!
