Sskai stops dropping any loot after two kills?

I logged on earlier, figured I would try my luck at getting a Sskai's Sword. However, every kill after the second kill resulted in absolutely no drops from him. Is this how ridiculous the anti-farm code is? Or am I missing something else?

I farmed him a bit yesterday (mainly just getting the hang of a solo build for him, only actually killed him 2 or 3 times), but had logged on to another character with which I played for a couple hours afterwards, so I wasn't spending consecutive sessions farming the guy. Also, I never saw a message stating that the area would stop dropping loot.

Thoughts? Is the anti-farm code this severe? Or did he quit dropping stuff due to some other reason? If it really is the anti-farming kicking in, I have to say, that is pretty ridiculous.

If you've farmed him a lot in the past it can kick in pretty quickly, especially if that's all you do on that character. If you switch up what you're doing (ie: go play fort aspenwood for a couple of matches) then go back to farming you should get good drops again - that was my trick when I was chain farming a couple of bosses.

I did a round of Aspenwood and came back, still only let me kill Sskai another two times before he quit dropping loot again. Luckily he dropped the sword for me after my second round of Aspenwood, but allowing only two kills on a boss before cutting his loot is pretty ridiculous.

I have killed 38 bosses in a row (yes I have counted) and have recieved 2 drops. One was a warden pauldren and another was an outcast bracer and a bone idol. Yes - a farming code exists...

I know it exists, that wasn't in question. I was just pointing out the fact that it kicking in after two consecutive runs is ridiculous.

Sskai's has been nerfed I think he ussually doesnt drop anything for me, but I'm not sure if farm code takes effect any more for other bosses they seem to have random drops.

Xuekao 100+ times. 3 drops. This was on a team of 3. Yes, we were to lazy to change over and do something else for 20 minutes to reset the code and not waste 3 hours...

your lucky i have killed sskai at least 100 times and gotten nothing. Also can you post your soloing build. My build needs a monk, which may have abosrobed some of the greens but not that many.

I just use the warrior/mesmer build listed in the large Sskai soloing thread, with a couple skills changed.
