Drunkard Minutes Nerf?

i had been zoning for about 2 hours in droks, then i stopped getting drunkard minutes for zoning... it was really stupid, now im about a stack short of what i need. anyone else notice bugs with the drunkard minutes?

split stacks and drink from different stacks RANDOMLY everytime u zone. impossibile to trigger it this way.
ex. drink from stack n1, zone, n3, zone, n5, zone, n1, zone, n2, zone, n4 ecc ecc
it's not fixed it works exactly like when i used it to reach ale-hound

just like the anti-farming code... when u overfarm the same areas drops start to be shitty and return to normality after some hours.
leave it for now try tomorrow splitting stack

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried fighting enemies while going after the drunkard title? Does being "drunk" make you miss more often with your attacks? Or can you only get "drunk" in town?

anywhere.it makes things more fun if the screen wavers a bit and my character suddenly says for everyone to stop shouting or sits down on her own with enemys nearby

Please forgive this completely newbish question.. I did try to search, but it's down as usual. Since my question relates to something I read here, I figured it was better to ask here than start a new thread.
I notice people saying in this thread to "split" the stacks. Is it possible somehow to split up a stack of items into smaller amounts? I have never been able to figure out how to do this. (well, short of trading with someone, or selling, which does give you the ability to trade/sell a certain number off the stack).

Also, I don't believe it's possible to split stacks of items without the help of another person. Moving it to storage doesn't give you the option of spliting and picking up stuff in an explorable area will just add to the existing stack.

lol why did it work for me?
drank out of the same stack, didnt have to randomize. i even did it around the same time as matt jenkins
(also it takes ~1 hour, not 5...maybe you are talking about lvl 2 though)

Define "zoning" please? Is this simply switching districts? You drink, switch districts, and are awarded "free" drunkard minutes?

its not free, its exactly the duration of ur drink ^^
like, drink a spiked eggnog, go thru portal/zone somewhere, upon leaving the area you receive the full duration of the drunkness thats left from ur drink

Huh, interesting. What about drinks that don't get you drunk with one shot? Like Hunter's Ales, which require three or four to get a real solid buzz going?
For what it's worth, I appreciate this "feature" or "glitch" or whatever, simply because it feels so wasteful to drink a spiked egg nog and then have to go somewhere. I've told my party to wait because I'm drunk and I want it to wear off before we enter the mission.

Strange, I tried the trick but it didnt quite work. I still had to wait for the actual time to pass to get the minutes added on my title, just the effects dissapeared when I zoned.

I'm 250-ish minutes into Drunkard and having a blast. My friends all see me drinking and they're sure to give me a hard time about my habit. On vent, it's all "Seek therapy, Ghull!" and "Get help, Ghull!" I tell them to mind their own *hic* business.

Kinda like Eyo, a guildie of mine.. I really do not believe that we have done a single warren run without his character belting out "everyone stop shouting" and "oh no, not again" every 6 seconds.

Uhh...one way to split stacks is to buy some ale, store in storage, and then buy some more. Afterwards take them out and put them in different slots.
The zoning trick seems nice. Lowers the time for the title greatly. Gotta try that out some time.

the glitch/bug/feature is that when you zone, you are automatically given credit for any drunken time you have stacked on you. So instead of having to wait out the time to get the title credit - just zone and get it right after drinking.

Yes, but if you drink 3 to get drunk, then zone, you only get credit for 1 minute, not 3 minutes...
