what made me notice as my son got his Zoobooks today on Endangered Animals and it had the Moa listed as now extinct due ot over hunting by main around 1200 AD

The moa birds in the game are more akin to the flightless phorusracid birds of South America, imo. The hooked bill and the build of the things are unmistakable...
