Help with monk stuff, i am noob

Ok, so i'm hearing about this "55" Monk stuff, and i have NO idea what it is?

Can i turn a regular monk into a 55 monk?

Can a 55 monk turn into a regular monk? The 55 Monk is a type of build that is used only for PvE (Player vs Environment). There is a thread dedicated to 55 Monks.

The term 55 Monk refers to the Monk having only 55 life.

A regular Monk can indeed turn into a 55 monk, but must have the focus found in Pre-seering that gives -50 life.

Superior Runes will reduce health (except for Vigor and Absorption), and this will give you 55 life.

The only way to turn yourself back into a non-55 monk, is to have new armor (or replace the Superior runes with other runes) and un-equip the -50 life focus.

Its the minus 20hp item the 55hp monks use when they have 15% death penaty thats found in the per searing.
