Good A/Rt PvE build?

I just made a new A/Rt. It was all great until I got to Kaineng and realized I had NO IDEA what to use. I am more of a PvPer, really, so I just don't know what is useful in PvE. Is AoD good at all? I was thinking of using Recall instead and freeing up my elite.

I couldn't find any good combos, either; I didn't look at elites though. Also self heals - any good Restoration skills maybe?

Thanks for any help. I usually play a PvP caster, so I'm completely lost.

Well, most assassins generally end up pure assassin skills but I took /rt for flesh of my flesh permanent res. I would be assuming that pot where you drop it and ress nearby party members would be good, along with the spirit that resses.

For the most part, I don't see many options for weapon mods. But I would think a support spell like an extra spirit or something would be helpful.

I have a Rit/N and a A/Mo, so I may be able to help you a bit.

While I have not tried some of these skills, it should work for you.

Recouperation (creates a global mending spell that affects all allies in area)
Spirit Walk (Shadow Step to target spirit) - portal on enemy, do combo then, use spirit walk to your Recouperation spirit.

With a spirit, you can also bring Mend Body and Soul - this heals and removes 1 condition if you are within the area of affect of a spirit (like recouperation).

Even at 0 level of Restoration, you can create a spirit doing +1 health regen and Spirit Walk is a No Attribute spell. So you can concentrate on your Assassin powers and have these 3 skills/spells to help you heal, remove condition and teleport away from the fray.

Hope this helps.

Honestly, if you're looking to do PvE with a group, there are two main skills from your secondary that I would focus on as a A/Rt...

Flesh of my Flesh - multiple res. Yes, as an assassin you're likely one of the 1st to die, but IMO anyone that doesn't bring a rez (especially a multiple use one) isn't welcome in most PvE groups.

Brutal Weapon - increases your damage based on how much you can pump into Communing. As an assassin, bringing any sort of self heal into PvE is basically a death sentence - you don't have time to heal based on your attack style, so you really need to rely on your monks to do so. Your job is to kill as quickly as possible, and brutal weapon can help you do that by adding 5-13 damage to each of your already very quick strikes. That extra 50 damage or so in a quick combo can be the difference in life and death in your target, especially if you plan on teleporting out afterwards.

Another possible option is Vengeful Weapon. Requires Resotration points, but on an Assassin it's easily an offensive tool. Adds, at proper levels, a good shot of health steal, while giving you a boost. 1/4 casting, 3 recharge, makes it a good one for spamming between dagger attacks. Alsos boosts any healing Spirits you may or may not want to bring. And makes your Flesh of my Flesh better, and a hard rez is essential in any PvE group. May as well be you that does it :P
