Some people invest large amounts of times trying to milk all they can out of a single item, others will sell well below figuring they can make up the difference with the saved time.
Many frugal buyers will wait days or weeks before buying an item looking for the best deal they can get. Some buyers will go extremely high for the instant gratification, some take this to the extreme.

I had a little suggestion for the bows in this thread,
When I'm buying bows or sleling them, I often notice that the -5 energy mod is less wanted, and the -10 armor and 15^50 are the most wanted, though they are all priced the same here, I would say that the -5 energy bows are often 2/3's of the price of a 15^50 or 15 -10 bow.

Actually -5 energy bows have always sold wayyyy lower, as 15>50 and 15/-10 are the best and most wanted for rangers....

fellblades have gone way way down. i bought a req 10 15^50 for 50k recently. I see people selling for a lot more all of the time but they never sell. I often see those same people selling the same sword for a large price for several days...people aren't buying.

I started with the price of 50k then kept on dropping the price down. It took me a few nights too, today I posted 35k and had no buyers so I switched it to 30k and I got a buyer in less than 1 minute.
I think that since Factions has been out it's been a lot harder to sell items.

There's a select group of casters looking for the perfect Platinum Wand out there, and I'm one of them. I know because we saw eachother's WTB post here and started talking ingame. What is the value according to you of let's say a req8 divine, +5^50, 20% hsr healing?
I have the feeling this is an extreem rare skin, let alone find it with 2 good mods. Farmed several platinum blades but no plat wand so far.
I've read earlier in this post that those 2 mods will go around 100k, so what is the skin worth? And the different reqs and their prices?

what two mods will go 100k? honestly for a basic skin low req divine holy rod with +5^50 and 20% hsr healing would hit 300k+... have seen one or two (maybe the same one) in the past sell for 500k+...
I think a platinum wand like that would hit over 500k as they are HIGHLY sought after

Prices are what everyone says they are. If you all give in and sell them cheap then that becomes the new standard. Although you're quite right to do so 'cause there is always someone willing to undersell you just get the quick sell.
Anyways I noticed dragoncrest axe isn't listed. Didn't know if there was any intention to add it to the list or not just curious. I don't see these getting sold alot so not sure the price on them.
