I dunno if this is the right thread to post this in, but I feel it's related. so here goes.
I have a question about how much a max dmg/arm/nrgy rareskin-item drops in value when it falls down 1% from f.ex 15^50 to 14^50 or HSR 19% instead of 20%
I reckon it will have alot to do with what kinda item ofcourse i.e a Crystalline sword with -1% will still get you more Ecto's than you'll ever have use for hehe but it's more difficult with f.ex a Mursaat Hammer or a Chaous Axe.

the decline in price does not measure proportionately with the reduction in their stats with each item....i also wish there's a formulae for these items..but it jsut doesnt work that way....all the PCs here take into account (well as much as we can) the demand and supply factor..which is what drives the commodity's prices up...
what also influence a price is what people have and what they're willing to pay..
not many can afford a perfect crys...as a substitute, a near perfect one would be most sought after..and hence the higher price for non perfect crys relative to other different weapons..

i have a (req8)tetsubo hammer, 14%/-5energy, sundering 20/20, +30hp, now thats very near perfect and yet i cant even sell it for 30k, apparently people think it's 'ugly'...

I figure colossal scimitars will be the most expensive skins, I expect em to go up to sephis axe prices as they seem to be extremely rare drops and possibly only drop from lower end areas (which means they're probably not max and will be extremely underfarmed)

I'm not sure if its supposed to be like this but i have found out that you can put an inscription on something that already has one. I thought that you could only inscribe something only if it had an "open" inscription slot, guess not. So Im also guessing that those rare skins with a free slot wont go for the same price as the one with a 15^50 or +5e.
The only reason i bring this up is because i was able to sell a Azurea Shortbow with no inscription for 20k.

Supscriptions are cheap,an item having a 15^50 inscription wouldn't make it that much more exspensive.

Hi there, apologies if this has been answered and I missed it. Is there generally a difference between the NF and non-NF version of a weapon? For instance, is a req9 Brute with a +15^50 inscription worth the same as a req9 Brute with an unsalvageable +15^50 inherent mod? I assume the inscribed versions are much more common, but I don't know if they should be priced separately, or if they're dragging prices down uniformly. Thanks in advance.

At the end of the day it's up to the seller, most people sell NF golds cheaper then their Tyrian counterparts..15^50 inscriptions are easy to get hold of.

Yes you are wise to pass on a brute over 100k. Just sit in LA and you will see req.10 going as low as 25k and req.9 35-50k.

i would rather pay 2mil for a req 10 10^50 than paying 2mil for a req9 15(enchanted)
what im trying to say is...shouldn't a crystaline req 13 10^50 be price checked, of course not exactly, but approximatly the same as the req 13 15^50?

What you would rather pay is not what it seems other people are willing to pay. Hence the price of some Crystalline Swords being more than what you think is acceptable.
To some xx% Enchant, Stance, Hexed, Vs Hexed etc are more useful than 1x>50 ones.
The nearest Crystalline Sword to 10>50 is 11>50 but even then I cannot see why one with Req 13 should be price checked the same as a 15>50 one. Especially when the Req 13 15>50 one is worth 300-400 ectos and the 11>50 one is worth like 100k ish... the 15>50 one is much much rarer than the 11>50 one too. And when something is rarer people pay more for it.

hate to ask this but there are a few from elona that should be added here in my opinion ele blade, blade axe, and the black skined crude axe. other then those could you posably add the pc's for dragon breath wands and the other few rare wand skins i know there is a new fire breath skin but cant think of the name of it. also posably give a pc on the perfect rare skin shields like diomond aegis and the other rare shields with it. i know i am always trying to find a pc on a shield and end up selling it for 100k-100k+10ecto but i would like to know if i can sell them for more and it would help if they was in the guide here. if you dont want to pc all the diff type of shield mods just do it with a -5 physical and price them that way with all the req's and for the wands do it based on skin not mods that way we know what the skins worth and we can just price by adding what the mod would be worth to someone.
