Identify them for the title yourself or sell them for a lot of cash to people who want the title .

Not many people will buy UNID weapons for very much each. Even rare skins now.

Its common well known knowledge that you can test UNID weapons for their mods before their ID'ed - so its worthless to buy UNIDs now because 99% of the time its already been tested to make sure it doesnt have good mods on it.

So your better off IDing them.

I think the basic testing is to equip the weapon. Certain things will denote certain mods, such as your health going up 28 pts. would denote a +28 health mod, -1 energy regen denotes a zealous mod, -5 energy denotes a possible +always damage modifier, -1 health regen denotes vampiric, etc... As for testing beyond that, I have no idea.

Naw, item stats are determined well before they get to you. I've seen mobs hitting me with vampiric weapons in the past. Identification doesn't randomly determine the stats of an item, loading the zone does. Identification just makes those stats known to you. No matter what testing you do, you won't know if a weapon is 15>50, 20<50, etc.

Couldn't you test this in the battle isles with Wild Blow? First use a plain white weapon on the 60 AL barrel, then a 15^50(both uncustomized at the same attribute level, and 0 strength). Write these two numbers down, and compare the unId'ed weapon damage. There is that 15% -10AL attacking, this test wouldn't differentiate between 15%^50 and 15%, -10 AL, or a 14% mod, for that matter.

Alot of things are semi-easy to test beyond just equiping the weapon. Though thats mostly what people do.

About 10 minutes in the battle isles, and you'll AROUND what the dmg mod is or isnt (by testing it basic, while under a hex, while under an enchant, and stuff like that), You'll know IF it has sundering or not (its hard to tell 18%and up apart), if it has elemental mods if you enlist the help of a friend in a scrimmage, longer enchants can be tested within 1-2%, lengthen duration is pretty easy to test, Staves can have faster recharge/cast tested within a few % if you have the time, all of that on top of the easy ones to test.

If you don't care too much about the title, sell them. I see people spamming to buy any unid golds because they are going for the title. Of course, it is easy to get unid golds in Cantha, so when selling them, sell them in Tyria.
