Gyala Hatchery?? how on earth do you get in there????

okay i have been trying to figer out how to get in here with no luck whats so ever. i have done all the missions up to this point and still nothing. i seen someone say something about the sunjiang district mission and having to do that so i went and got that mission done and went back to cavalon and there where w few new quest to do so i did them and still i cant get in the hatchery, the guy there says to talk to elder rhea but she has nothing for me,im just wondering am i missing something or what? well i know i am missing something otherwise i wouldnt have a hard time getting in,the thing is what it is i am missing here... could someone help? thanx..

have you done befriending the luxons? well after you finish that some other quest leads you in there.

You need to talk to Jamei at Matu Keep. Even if you have done the Kurzick side of the quests, you need to take and do the Luxon path quests to get into the hatchery.

Befriending the Luxons, Then Stolen Eggs. Both from Elder Rhea.

He had to do "To Cavalon" in Maatu keep just to get INTO Cavalon :\ thats why I assumed he already did it.

Elder Rhea gives you the "Stolen Eggs" quest after you befriend the Luxons. That quest takes you to Gayla Hatchery.

well i have already chosen to ally with the luxon so im not sure,i tend to get quest and go out and do them and not really look to see what the quest are...

also i did a quest from Cavalon where i went and killed some Kurzick it was where i killed a boss guy and then some Kurzick came where i had to kill a main guy with them, the boss guy was 1,000.00 blaid something...

i have been to breaker hollow,fort aspenwood,the jade quarry,bai paasu reach and eredon terrance and there is noone around any of them places that has a quest for me exsept fro a guy outside of eredon terrance...

You must finish Arborstone and Boreas missions before advancing, regardless of whether you are Kurz or Lux, both have to be done. Sounds like that may be the problem.

You need 10k luxon faction to complete befriending the luxons and get the quest to enter gyala but in a blinding design move there aren't enough luxon quests to get 10k faction so you need to repeat some quests or farm faction.

This isn't really true. There have been posts where people have gotten into Cavalon before completing the Sunjiang District mission. They do this by entering from the explorable area.

The OP needs to just get the Befriending the Luxons quest from Elder Rhea if he hasn't done so already, accumulate 10k Luxon faction, talk to Elder Rhea to complete the Befriending the Luxons quest, and to get the Stolen Eggs quest. This quest will take you to Gyala Hatchery.

same here been running around like a blue ar*ed fly for the past 2 days trying to figure it.

Nothing new here that hasn't been posted for you, but maybe seeing it in a different color will help you locate the quest you are missing.

okay i have sence gotten the Befriending the Luxons quest but only problem is i need 100 more Luxon Faction i have 9k of the 10k you need... so i guess now all i need to do is find another 100 and i havent a clue where sence so far i beleave ive found all the guest that give you Luxon faction, I have gone out all over and havent found anymore quest giving me the Luxon,I find alot of Kurzick Faction quest,so there must be something i'm missing. Guess I will just have to keep looking. And I have already done Arborstone and Boreas missions, on the Kurzick side I am down to House zu Heltzer. So whats getting me is the 100 i have left to get/find Luxon Factions I need for the Befriending the Luxons quest...

Try one of the repeatable faction quests you can get in explorable areas, or do a quick Fort Aspenwood or Jade Quarry battle to grab your last 100 faction.

There are 3 repeatable luxon quests that I know of. Outside of Breaker Hallow is a supply run for 400 faction, outside of Bai Paasu Reach is in the army(or something like that) 400 faction again, and outside Eredon Terrece is a scout mission for 400 faction. Aslo you get faction for doing alliance battles, Zos Shivros Channel mission, Fort Aspenwood mission, and Jade Quarry mission. I believe there is another kill the scouts repeatable mission also, I dont remember where its at tho.

Nothing new to me there. Though possibly there is a glitch in the game cause I didnt get befiending the Luxons as I had joined earlier ( walked to caveon b4 I got the quest as I was exploring). Maybe I will have to find away to leave luxon fraction and see if Rhea will give me those.

I had exactly this problem when I was mapping Cantha. I walked/fought to Cavalon rather than taking the quests as my character was already Kurzick. Once at Cavalon Elder Rhea had nothing to say to me, and when I fought my way to the Hatchery without taking any quests the gatekeeper would not let me in. It took me two days to work out what I needed to do and I tried everything including making my guild Luxon alligned.

The solution though is simple and has already been posted.

Go back to Matu Keep. Talk to Jamei and take the quest "To Cavalon". Map to Cavalon and complete the quest. Then go and find Elder Rhea, who will then talk to you. You will then be able to take the Befriending the Luxons Quest, and subsequently (once you have obtained the 10K Luxon faction) she will offer you the Stolen Eggs quest.
