IDS Question

Did they really get rid of it, or is it just impossible to find now because everyone farmed them out. I've seen some people selling them for ridiculous prices.

It's still there. Only the specific imps in and around Lyssa's cave drop them, but that hasn't changed.

hmmm, im pretty sure ANet wouldnt take them out...maybe no1 cares n e more... what u can do is buy a FDS and replace it with icy hilt...making it an IDS....i think....correct me if im wrong....

ne ways, about the rediculous prices...alot of ppl do that, hoping to find a desperate rich guy...or they dont know the real price range, idk...

Yeah...you can't replace the hilt, because its just an elemental hilt, there's nothing there to replace...or that how the guy explained it to me.

i dont think you can just replace a fds's hilt with icy and make it an IDS. The IDS is a unique skin.. just like replacing a long sword with a fiery hilt doesn't make it a FDS.

I'm sure the IDS is still farmable.. just noone really bothers anymore i think

You cannot modify the hilts on the FDS or IDS. Ever. At all. Period.

Indeed, you cannot change the prefix. The sufix can be changed at any time.
