Help with my ATI Radeon

I had a POS dell intergrated graphics card, that just couldnt run the gama. so i bought a ATI Raddeon 9250 PCI BUS, in hopes of being able to run the game. however now that i have the card installed and the software downloaded, i cant even get into my computer. my moniter turns off after windows loads. please tell me what to do.

Try booting into safe mode when windows starts by tapping F8 a few times. Don't hold it down, just tap it a couple times. Do it right after your computer "boots up" but before windows starts to load. If you can't seem to get it, keep trying at different times, sometimes it can be difficult at first. Then select "Safe Mode" in the menu that pops up. From there, check to make sure your settings are OK, for example your resolution and refresh rate. If that still doesn't work, you may want to uninstall the drivers for the card and reinstall them. If you still can't get it to work, repost here.

Does your computer show anything at all when it boots up? Like, you can see all the stuff before windows but when windows loads it messes up?

lol i got it to work and forgot all about my post here.

i did start it in safe mode, then i had to uninstall the drivers (the main and backup),then i restarted it and let my computer add new hardware.

after that i just whent to ATI.com and got there newest driver.
