It's not widely known, but if you input some commands in the GW console, you can try a different type of view to the game:
Kinda reminds me of Oblivion.
Kinda reminds me of Oblivion.
Jiao Yang
Yeah, I got that once when I was randomly button bashing. Shame it disappears again when you log off
megalomaniac_mutant
Whoa, GW and Oblivion together! Yay!
Hailfall
Can you share those commands with me?
Ulivious The Reaper
photoshop ftw
lol nice

BlackRecluse
your sword is glowing!

I remember my boyfriend did the same thing a while back when he combined the first-person hands and weapon of Medal of Honor with Mafia. When he posted it online on one of the forums he used to go to, everyone went crazy trying to know the command or the mod location.
As for this pic right here, it's interesting not only to see a true first-person view but also some of the details on the wardens.

Yes, it's really uncanny how detailed the enemies look if you get close enough to observe them. That's really the main incentive for doing this - usually I won't pay much attention to whatever I'm slaying, but I somehow have the feeling that in the future I will.

Nice photoshop effort, mind you. Geez, I haven't gone very far on Oblivion so far. That one battle where you fought four women in a very small house was harrowing, especially since my Wood Elf is an archer, not a melee fighter.
Zinger314
GameSpy Watermark FTL.
The Real Roy Keane
Just scrolling up on the little wheel in the middle of your mouse gives you a FPS view, for those who don't know.
Eragon Dragonslayer
not exactly....it isnt as FP as i would like it too be..
TheLordOfBlah
the first person view doesnt show the weapon USUALLY, however, if you go into first person and take off your wep, then equip it again, sometimes it will show the weapon, not the hand like that though
MrGuildBoi
yeah like this?
Dj Tano
how do you do that? sometimes that happens to me too and i so want to have it on like the whole time...
The Real Roy Keane
But being in a first person view would put you at a massive disadvantage..
Eragon Dragonslayer
works fine in obliv so how will it make it a disavantage?
Cjlr
It is much, much harder to have any sort of situational awareness in first-person. Oblivion works fine because you're not trying to closely coordinate with seven other players. First-person GW would cause some problems...
