Problem Getting the Krytan Ambassador Quest

Hey guys, hoping someone might be able to help with this:

Recently I just finished pre-searing, and stopped to talk to General Osric, who was offering the Krytan Ambassador quest. However, before I could click the option to accept the quest I was transported to Ascalon City somehow (I can only assume something a teammate did), and when I went back out to talk to Osric again and get the quest, he's gone.

So now I don't have the quest, and I'm just wondering, can I still get it? And/or do I have to go to Yak's Bend to get it, since that's where he is later on? I'd like the 500 exp, so I'm hoping this is still possible. :P

How is this a technical question? Completely wrong forum. Just go back to Yak's bend and retrace your steps, the Northern shiverpeaks is so easy you could run it no problem.

Sorry, I'm kinda new to the forum, and I didn't see a specific area to post about bugs, so I just figured the Technician's Corner might be the best place. Normally the two get put together. For future reference, where do threads like this belong here? In the area for general questions and answers?

Anyway, my problem is I haven't been to Yak's Bend yet. I haven't really done much in post-searing period, and I back tracked to where Osric should be, and he's not there. I heard he appears in Yak's Bend afterward, so I can only assume he'll be there instead, but I don't know if he'll still be offering this specific quest. I guess if he's not, there's nothing for it, but I was just curious if this has happened to anyone else and if so, to hear their input on it.
