What is the nicest you have done for someone?

I had a new character i had rushed through presearing to focus on leveling it in cantha.. however, upon reaching post sear ascalon, I realized I didn't have more than 30g. I then asked.. "can someone loan me 20g for a second?" One person replied right away and gave me the 20g. I opened my storage account and then gave him back 1k. That was pretty nice of me, and he seemed extremely pleased.

I keep nearly all of the weap mods I salvage and sup. runes. I go to either the Monestary or Ascalon and give them out free to the peeps that have that primary relevant to the mod or rune and are level 10 or less......
I also then get many pm's from the classes that I didn't invite for the free stuff asking for it or even peeps asking for free gold. Gold is not something I give out for free. Too many scammers and liars out there.
Many times I will go to lower level areas and just invite myself into parties and help out just to have fun annihilating with my MM or Tank or even Smiting monk ( I and heal too, btw.) At the end of the mission or quest, it's great getting a thank-you. The appreciation in the words said is enough. Many times I have gotten a tip and I never ask for them. See, there are good people out there still heheh.

This guy was selling a crystaline sword which was req 8 and +19% while hexed for 100k+ 10 ectos so I pmed him and told him how rare it is and all and told him to sell it through here.

I answer questions whenever I can, and these days I've been trying to help people with the Weh No Su mission. Once I went through it with a player assassin and henches - the LONG way e.g. kill all Star tengu first, then backtrack and kill celestials.
Uther Charrsbane
1. sold prp max req 9 crystalline sword for 5k
2. gave away 15 shards 2 ecto for sum1s fow armour
i swear on my life this is true

I bought my guild the Material Trader, Rare Material Trader, Rune Trader, Dye Trader and the Scroll Trader...
Gave away a black dye, a golden Amber Longbow, some gold, Flint's Fleshcleaver, also "forgot" that I still owed money from some ppl.
And I ran The Great Northern Wall for free, and afterwards gave away the drops to newbies (I killed the Charr ^^).

I spent over an hour last night counseling a stranger in game about how armor, runes, signets of capture, elite skills, etc. work. This is where I truly try to help players (i.e. versus running/giving items away). It's the old "teach a person to fish" mantra that I live by...
P!zz@
I agree. I teach people most of the time, the last one was a guy I spent muuuch time on explaining the "High Art of Grawl-Farming". I then went to cap Oath Shot and gave him my second Blankets-Bow. He's now a official Grawl-Farmer
Bad Apache
I don't collect Shards, I just randomly drop them and shout "SCRAAAMBLE!".
I must be on a few Friends Lists'
I try this, but whenever I group a new player, s/he is never interested about how the game works, and just asks for stuff...

The nicest thing I've ever done was when I sat for 2 hours in post-sear Ascalon and answered noobs' questions. They seemed to really appreciate it.

nicest thing that I have ever done was when I gave some gold swords to beginner warrior in Ascalon... he was very happy and I gave him some advices also... I did it because he told me that I have a nice armor ...
Blackest Rose
I'm not rich so can't give lots of money/high level stuff away....
I find it's often the less materialistic help which is the best.
Like the guy buying "good earth scrolls" - I had a good one but he couldn't afford it - I then noticed that he wasn't an ele so asked him why he wanted it.
He replied that he was a new player and needed parchment for his armor and couldn't afford to buy it from the vendor and was going to salvage the earth scrolls if he could buy some!!!!
Of course I spent all of 5 mins bringing him to the right collector - gave him some wood and 500g to start him off and told him to read all about these things on fine GW sites like this one.
He was genuinely very thankful ....
Of course another time I had some free time and saw a guy wanting some power levelling - offering 1k a level - I said I'd take him and he could pay me a fair price later - After a few levels he gives me 1g and quits... it takes all sorts.

Smile Like Umean It
i've met someone, ran them throught the nolani mission and all other places after that, bought them their droks armor(including the rare material), gave them any drops i didn't want (which was 90% if not all), paid for their droks run, and help them with any missions or quests they wanted....hmm....yep, think that's about it.
