smite spiker in fow????
Bob912
2day i was in a group w/ a monk who claimed to use a smite spiker build quite often in fow. my question is would a group be willing to take u if they didnt no u had tried this build b4 (it was mostly a guild group of his). would a smite build work well enough in fow to try it?

Smite=double damage on undead. It's a no brainer. Would I take a 55 monk? Not a chance in hell unless it was the monk and my guild was the rest of them group. Having said that it's still a stupid idea to take a 55 build. Smite can be casted on anyone else that wouldn't die in one hit.
Here's a tip. Capitals and somewhat correct spelling and grammar are greatly appreciated. No one like having to use their super secret decoder ring on others posts. It's damned annoying.

<<Takes out super secret decoder ring>>
-m .... rest of the group. AH!
+s .... No one likes having ... AH!
My decoder ring isn't working on this one
Back to the op's question/topic. Firstly, the smite build was most likely the new Air Enchantment smiter build. You cast zealot's fire, on yourself, and then Balz Aura on the target ally followed by Air enchantment and a barrage of prot spells, RoF/Gaurdian/Mend Condition etc. I bet it works like a charm in the FoW. The only problem is that it isn't an established/practiced group build for the FoW yet, so I think finding a group would be fairly difficult. I believe it is more of a BYOG -- bring your own group. With that said, that's why we have Guilds and the friend list.
GL and happy smiting.

We did a guild team for FoW last Friday with one monk as a "standard" smiter - Zealots, Balthazar's, etc. He was a good addition to the team. We had 2 other monks for protection and healing.
