Gladiator

What happened to the gladiator PvP arena that is in the Factions Manual? Were Anet going to put in some 1 v 1 battles or is it an area you have to get to?

Not included in the end I don't think.

If you want to 1v1 then do a Guild Scrummage with someone.

RTS is right; I don't have the manual, but I'm assuming that they are referring to Guild Scrimmages. There used to be a gladiator arena, but it was renamed and moved from outside LA to the Battle Isles ever since the large FPE update. It's now called the Random Arenas.

I don't think thats the arena hes (shes) talking bout. In the manual for factions, theirs a pic of battle isle, and they added another island to it (gladiator arena), but I believe Gaile (may be wrong here) said they took it out at the last minute. In any case I guess it was decided that between Guild Scrimmages and Random Arenas, a Gladiator Ring was not needed (although I think it would have been a great addition). Also would have been nice if you could observe anyone with a X wins in a row but meh, maybe it will be added at a latter date...or not.
