Easy money and dye's.

Hellow, guys.
Can someone tell me a way to get easy money,,, and does someone know a place near Ascalon where you can get dyes easy in a fight,, And what's the best fire weapon for an elementalis??

early on is the collectors wand just outside nolani academy.

does crap for damage but is +5 energy unconditionan.

comes in 3 random flavors.

Dyes in Tyria really only drop with any predicted frequency in Pre-Searing areas.

Anyway, easy money - doesn't exist on a new character barring lucky drops.

I remember you used to be able to get great dye drop ratios between Ascalon and Sardelec with the stone elementals. For some reason, they dropped a ton of dye for me, and a few friends.

YMMV, of course.

i got my 1 and only black dye drop from a stone elemental not far from ascalon

no such thing as easy money at the start of the game im afraid, quickest way to get a few k is to sell EVERY white/crap item that drops to the merchant you will have couple k in a few days no problem

i have found that the best way to get money for low lvl char. in pre is to salvage every drop (unless it is blue or will sell for 9g and up at merchant) and save the crafting material. when you go post, the price of some crafting materials double. then, sell some and use the rest for armor or weapons. this works really well because the drop rate in pre is practically 100% and in post it drops to like 50%. so save up and sell high!
