i usually farm: 2 man uw , solo fow (spider cave)

if i dont have favor of gods, normally i do Alliance battles, to get more ambers and sell them....

mountain trolls/ettins/aborstone/random green runs are also a good option.

A few things:

Look around the thread...most of us have posted where we farm.

I generally like UW and bosses, but there really is no BEST farm. Just whatever gets you the most cash in the least time is what you want to do for gold, but sometimes you need items etc.
