There is bear in pre,can you catch it? Is it like bear in post,or is it different,and how different?

yes you can catch it, it takes some skill or a partner because of his mauling (interrupts or kd i believe). same bear however (stats and such).

just before you go for it, consider that it attaks slower, doesnt do more damage and gets in your way alot. i would get a Stalker or a wolf

Unless you're going to go full on Beastmastery I really doubt anything else matters.

just in case you want to try it one day, leave possiblities open

IDK if its all the pets, but when i had a bear it seemed to get in my way and body block me more then any other pet i had

My Melandru's Stalker continually gets in my way. Its a playful one too.

To capture a bear in pre-seering, you must have someone who will block for you. They can't attack, but they must heal themselves and stay between you and the bear. The bear will be trained (by you) when you finish charming it.
