hey, so, made my necro in Cantha, and got it to level 20 in cantha (Seeing as how the quests there have huge exp rewards), and I went to Lion's Arch, blah blah and then I want to get my -50hp cesta for my 55SSnecro, and I don't exactly have enough money to pay for a cesta from somebody else. So I say, "not a problem!" I trekked all the way back to ascalon from Lion's Arch, and lo and behold, I CAN'T GET A SINGLE FREAKING QUEST IN ASCALON CITY.

Can somebody please help?! Or at least tell me WHY this is happening?!

Canthans can not get any quest prior to Lion's Arch. This has been stated so my friggin times it's rediculous.

Was that recent? Im just doing another character, but have not got that far yet.. so could confirm later if no one is 100s sure

For the OP (and other new players) : many will tell you that item has been recently removed from the game, but will trade you for a pint of your blood and your first-born. It's still there.

Options:

1. Create a Tyria Character and do the Quest (The item is still there! It always has been)

2. Buy the -50 item - It sells for only 5K, that is your best option.

You only have a certain percent chance of getting the -50 cesta it seems.

And that Percent Chance is 100%....Its the Earth Scroll that alternate between -20 hp and -5 energy.

And it's probably because they looked at the quest rewards beforehand and don't see any stats

If I had 1k for everytime Someone said: the quest doesnt give it anymore! (and secretly think...haha, now buy mine for 50k) Thne I'd be wiping my butt with 15^50 req7 Cys Swords...

No, you'll just have a big ass collection of 15^50 req7 Crystalline Swords. Swords up the butt probably won't feel to great, let alone have cold crystal touching your skin =/
